Single Payer is the Solution
A single payer system means that there is only one “insurance” payer, and the payer is public. That means the payer’s mission is to make sure people get the care they need, when they need it, instead of prioritizing profits. The Task Force’s report shows that it’ll work in Oregon. While single payer doesn’t solve every issue with our health care system, it solves the biggest one: how we pay for health care.
A single payer system means:
Better care, for more people, for less money
Freedom from worry about your family’s care
Freedom from the complexities of health insurance
No more expensive monthly premiums, co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance, or out of pocket maximums.
Choice of providers - every provider is “in network”
Everybody in! Nobody Out!
