HCAO Local Chapters
Health Care for all Oregon (HCAO) uses Chapters throughout Oregon build awareness of HCAO and our mission in their home communities. This includes helping build HCAO’s supporter and volunteer base through community outreach activities, working on local resolutions and advocacy actions, and helping HCAO raise funds to support all of this work.

How Chapters Help HCAO
HCAO Chapters help build awareness of HCAO and our mission. They also add and engage supporters, members and volunteers. This work is done in the following ways as capacity allows:
Outreach during local events, conferences, picnics, during marathons, parades…
Organize sign and banner holding events like on freeway overpasses or busy streets;
Establish and/or participate in phone or text banking activities;
Hold educational activities, trainings and house parties;
Work on local resolutions;
Participate in advocacy actions;
Write letters to the editor;
Share HCAO’s social media platforms (HCAO website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter);
Grow community support for HCAO from local businesses and organizations; and
Help HCAO raise funds to support all of this work.
