Organizational Membership

An Organizational membership is $100 a year.

Organizations apply for membership.

To apply, complete this application, and the payment portal on our Donation Page, or the payment options in the applications document.

Organizational Members:

Publicly endorse HCAO’s mission, and be identified as a member of HCAO.

Rights of Organizational Members:

  • Member Organizations may appoint one delegate to HCAO meetings for voting purposes, with one vote representing their organization

  • That delegate may vote to amend the Bylaws according to the terms of the above Bylaws.

  • Delegates may elect and remove Directors and Officers.

  • Powers and Privileges not granted in these Bylaws are reserved for the HCAO Board.

Organizational Members are encouraged to:

  • Provide representation at HCAO’s Annual Membership Meeting.

  • Communicate with your members/constituents about HCAO’s mission, activities and progress.

  • Provide a link to the HCAO website through your organization’s website, Facebook page, etc.

  • If you have a logo, please provide a digital copy to HCAO for use in HCAO’s public membership materials. Preferred formats: EPS or high resolution JPG or PNG. Send to operations@hcao.org

  • Consider additional ways your organization can continue to support this movement toward universal healthcare.

    • Speakers or presenters: Could you invite experts from HCAO to lead discussions with your organization about this transition to universal healthare.

    • Sponsor Events: We have several in-person fundraisers over the course of the year, and can always use principal sponsors.

    • Turnout your membership for Canvassing, Rallies and Advocacy Events.

    • In-kind services, like printing and mailing

    • Event space donation

Organizational Members contribute a minimum of $100 a year.
