Mid Valley Health Advocates leader and HCAO Faith Caucus member,  Mike Huntington presented a resolution at the Annual Gathering of the Central Pacific Conference of the United Church of Christ. The Gathering took place at member United Church of Christ in Salem from September 22-24.

The Corvallis-UCC-Health Ministry Team proposed a "Restore, Improve, and Expand Traditional Medicare" resolution. The resolution passed with 94 yes votes, zero no votes, and one abstention. 

The CPC will make the resolution known to the President, the Oregon, Washington, and Idaho Congressional delegations, and the 2025 UCC Synod.
