I want to take this opportunity to share (promote) a wonderful opportunity to support our effort and honor a pioneer in our fight for health care for all.
HCAO is honoring Representative Mitch Greenlick on October 6, with a dinner at the Riverside Country Club in Portland. Seats at the event will be available soon through a link on our website, but the basic information is that we will celebrate Mitch at the dinner on Friday, October 6, beginning at 6:30. For more detailed information, email HERE.
I know Portland isn’t convenient for all who would want to attend, but if you can, tickets including dinner, will be available at $125 ($250 for VIP) and tables of 8 or 10 can be reserved. There are also a number of sponsorship opportunities and you can learn about those by emailing HERE.
This is an evening that promises to be exciting, fun and an opportunity to both honor Mitch, the driving force behind Oregon’s declaration of health care as a right, and to move our efforts forward.
We have attracted an impressive committee of passionate supporters, many new to HCAO and are excitedly anticipating more than 200 guests to share in the evenings celebration. This will greatly expand our message and the audience it reaches and will also allow us to raise important financial resources for our efforts.
We will also have a separate golf ball drop to raise funds (and fun) for HCAO Action. For the ball drop, you can participate for as little as $10 and needn’t be at the event to win. Details coming to the HCAO Action website or HERE.
So, keep a close eye on our website and social media as we get the details out. Grab a spot. Buy a golf ball (or several), spread the word and help us celebrate and succeed.
