Letter to the editor, Statesman Journal, March 15, 2015
by Edith Orner, Albany
Consider this: On Feb. 11, I participated in a rally at the Capitol in Salem supporting Health Care for All Oregon.
This was well-orchestrated, lasting two hours and including musicians and speakers with signs, banners and costumes carried by folks representing diverse groups from around the entire state who all support this effort to establish universal health care, publicly funded and privately delivered for all residents of Oregon.
The next day, I examined my copy of the Statesman Journal to see how we fared with the press. On Page 5A there was a two-inch single column.
