We wanted to make sure you saw and share with your networks the new animation created for the Oregonians for Affordable Drug Prices Now campaign. It tells the story of the FIGHT happening in Oregon. Advocates, nurses, pharmacists, labor unions and even major health plans are one side. Big Pharma is on the other. Check out the animation af on the Affordable Drug Prices Act and

Time is running out in Salem to pass the Affordable Drug Prices Act, so we need everyone to email their lawmakers now. One of the most important aspects of the bill is the transparency provision that will allow us, for the first time, to see how much drug companies are spending on advertising versus research and development for individual drugs. This will help us stop price gouging practices that have increased the cost of insulin 300%. There is no way they will be able to justify that based on the data.

Please contact your lawmaker today and tell them to vote YES on HB 2387.

Take Action Now!

2. Call Your Senator and Represenative! Call script below:
My name is __________ and I am a constituent and parent/student from  __________(City).
I’m calling to urge you to support Cover All Kids (HB 2726/SB 558). In Oregon, there are over 17,600 children that are uninsured. It is time to change that. No Oregon child should be forced to suffer the lifelong consequences that can result from a lack of health coverage. Is Senator/ Representative ___________ in support of making coverage for all children a funding priority?

An investment in Cover All Kids is an investment in Oregon’s future. Please support funding to extend healthcare coverage to ALL children in Oregon."
