Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI) Locks Out 2200 Steelworkers in 6 states at 12 different worksites including Albany, Oregon.
Health Care for All-Oregon stands in support of United Steelworkers Local #7150 in Albany and its 180 members who have been locked out for over 4 months now. Its time to roll up our sleeves and rally for workers who are being trounced because of health care insurance bargaining issues which are an outrageous cost shift of the impending Cadilac tax. There is no doubt about it. Corporate Health Care has run amuck and is at the heart of this lockout. Enough is Enough!
Health Care for All-Oregon's Union Caucus is calling for this Steelworker Solidarity Rally on the Picket Line in Albany to show widespread support for the USW Local #7150's workforce. These family breadwinners have been dealt a wicked hand from a corporate gaming table that is driven by runaway healthcare profits.
