Go to KOBI for their interview of Wes Brain, Southern Oregon Labor Council, and Ralph Browning, member-leader with AFSCME and long-time president of Local #2631,  Medford City Employees, broadcast during the local NBC evening news on Labor Day, Sept. 2. Near the end of the broadcast, Wes was able to make a plug for Universal Healthcare and the light at the end of the tunnel here in Oregon.

Earlier on Labor Day, over 200 attended the Southern Oregon Labor Day Picnic, held on the Rogue River at Tou Velle State Park.  HCAO-RV had a strong showing with banners, tee-shirts and leadership.  Mark Kellenbeck introduced State Representative Peter Buckley (District 5), who spoke with strong support for the Health Care for All-Oregon campaign.
