All the hype about Obamacare, whether for it or against it, has shown in dramatic fashion the awful tendency of politicians to take something and interpret it to the advantage of whatever outcome has the potential to increase the chances of their or their party’s success in subsequent elections.
The sad part is that this is making it more difficult to address the real issues; that the health care system in this country needs to be changed and the only way to do it is for our various party interests to be placed on the back burner and for us to look at some real ways of improving our ways of financing and executing health care.
